Welcome to St. Joseph Village of Chicago, our brand-new community with a rich history dating back to 1898. That's when St. Joseph Home of Chicago, the city's first and oldest Catholic nursing home opened its doors. St. Joseph Village of Chicago replaces the original community with all the quality upgrades you've come to expect from Franciscan Communities.

For more than 100 years we've served thousands in the Chicagoland area. Now we're doing so at our new modern community, conveniently located at 4021 W. Belmont Avenue. We officially opened St. Joseph Village of Chicago at the end of 2005, and we strive to ensure that those entrusted to our care can live their lives to the fullest here.

The service, the style, the overwhelming sense of well being…every aspect of St. Joseph Village of Chicago was designed for the resident, with their comfort and freedom in mind. That's the primary reason why we offer private rooms for our skilled nursing residents. Our community employs a person-centered approach to caregiving and provides a variety of health care options, including assisted living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, respite, Alzheimer's/dementia care and hospice.

Our apartments have been specially designed for adults who require some assistance with tasks of everyday living. Our comprehensive range of services is tailored to meet the individual requirements of each resident, and we promote each resident's independence and freedom while supporting them with our compassionate, dedicated staff which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
